Three friends running together on a mountain trail at golden hour

Accountability, but socialized

Fitness was never meant to be a solo sport.

FamFit pairs you with one person you care about. You each pick your own daily goal. When they finish, you'll know. When you both finish, your shared streak grows.

Why FamFit

We show up for the people we love.

Most fitness apps treat health as a solo grind: you versus a leaderboard, you versus yesterday. FamFit flips that.

We believe the people who love you are the strongest motivation you'll ever have, so we built a space where you and your person grow healthier, side by side, one day at a time.

An audience isn't accountability. A partner who notices is.

That's the whole idea behind FamFit: one person who notices, every single day.

How it works

Two people. Two goals. One streak.

  1. Pick your person

A best friend, your partner, your dad. One pact, two people. That's the whole idea.

  2. Each set your own goal

You want 8,000 steps; they want 30 minutes on the mat. Goals don't have to match. Steps, active minutes, workouts, and distance come straight from Apple Health or Health Connect, or you can log something of your own.

  3. Keep each other going

When they finish, you get a nudge and a deadline. When you both finish, your shared streak grows. Miss a day and it breaks for both of you, with one repair a week for real life.

The founder

Hi, I'm David.

“Health is wealth. Time to get rich.”

After tearing through 9 knee injuries at 22, I was told by an NBA doctor that I may never play sports again. As a lifelong competitive athlete in multiple sports, I felt as if a piece of my identity had been ripped apart.

I refused to just give up and walk away. By obsessing over and rebuilding my health system to optimize every detail in my life, I was able to pull off a miracle comeback and return to the courts.

But more importantly, I realized just how lonely someone's health journey can be. While others my age were playing pickup and working out casually, I was fine-tuning my recovery windows, inflammatory load, and sleep architecture. All that work, I did mostly alone.

I also realized I had the ability to change that. Not by getting one more person to build healthier habits, but by rebuilding how people experience fitness and health: together instead of alone.

This led me to build FamFit, designed to make fitness and health something people do together, not something they grind through solo.

Especially at a time when access to information and resources is at an all-time high, I firmly believe the future of health and fitness lies in community, and it'll be built through the platforms and content people already consume every day.
